Chi Chi Lip Liner

Three examples of lip liners.
One is my favourite.

Legally pink, Bimbo, Striptease
Have a guess which is my favouite
Up to down: Striptease, Bimbo, Legally Pink
Legally pink was soft, glided on smooth and doesn't need sharpening. Plus, look at that colour.
The other two should learn from it. They're all pretty, but LP runs circles around the others.

Brick Shimmers

I love Shimmer Bricks. They are just so pretty!
I bought the Chi Chi one as I waited to save up for the Bobbi Brown one, in the hope that it could be a dupe, but they are different- in their own pretty way.

So here is the Chi Chi one (Rose wall of shimmer).

And the (way more expensive) Bobbi Brown (Rose wall shimmer brick)

See how the colours are nothing alike?
And swatched, they are also completely different. (I'm sure you can see which one is the expensive one.)
A better swatch is

It's the same swatch as the previous one, just a better angle.
Let us take a minute of awe to reflect on how gorgeous this is.

Victoria's Secret is that she has great makeup!

I was a bit weary of trying makeup from a lingerie brand but I couldn't resist a box of various products when I was waiting in the airport. In the box was a beautiful smokey eye trio that I will swatch later, mascara that was ho hum, kohl pencil that I like, pretty pink lip gloss and *drum roll* the prettiest blush I had ever seen. No really. Look at it.
VS Blush in Starlet

As you can see, it's pretty loved.
Here's why.

Such a pretty flushed pink with pretty shimmer. It's so gorgeous with nice staying power.
VS Blush in Starlet is the perfect colour for my dark cheeks. Sometimes gorgeous colours just can't be seen on my skin tone, but this is perfect.

The benefit of Benefit- High Beam et al

I love the Benefit box. I can't wait to finish it so I can buy a brand new one cause there's just something magical about a brand new box of makeup.

I was reading the other day how Posietint came about (a stripper wanted some of her um body parts to be 'pinker'- let's just say not her cheeks) and I don't think I can look at it the same again.

Anyways. On to the swatches.
High Beam on top; Posietint bottom
High beam is a gorgeous highlighter and I love it. Posietint is pretty but on it's own, you can barely see it on my tanned skin. Same with the Dandelion blush, though I'm guessing they'd be very pretty on fairer skin. I overcome this by layering them on top of a darker colour and I get a pretty glow.

I heard that High Beam could have a dupe in the Elf shimmer whip things, but to date I have found nothing that matches its prettiness.
I love this.
P.S. You'll mention I don't mention the gloss. It was pretty ho hum for me- not bad but I wouldn't buy it on its own.

Chi Chi Lipgloss- Oh Em Gee

Here's a bit about my lipgloss background. At uni, I was nicknamed the Lipgloss Queen. I was known to carry with me a ridiculous amount of lipglosses.
So when I say I love my lipglosses, I'm not kidding.

Firstly, I must give a disclaimer. I love Chi Chi products generally. They are extremely pigmented and dramatic and for someone with a blog named Glitter and Leopard print, you know that's something I look for.
Secondly, it's not even called Lipgloss. It's called "Dramatic lacquer". How freakin cool is that?

Anyway, my favourite is Va Va Voom (the first one)- the color is amazing and I always get a load of compliments.
The others are a bit muted for my taste, but very pretty nonetheless and all have great staying power.
The corally one is very weird with my tanned skin, but it's not the lipgloss's fault. I imagine it'd be very pretty on fairer girls.

Va Va Voom, She's not me, I can't find the name, Man Eater

a Va Voom, She's not me, I can't find the name, Man Eater
Now please note when I say I can't find the name, that's not its name- I literally lost the sticker on it and I don't know what it's called. If I ever find out, I'll update.

Not all Too Face are created Equal

As you can see by how loved some colours are, not all Too Faced are created equal.

So the first palette is Too Faced Matt Eye and the second is Too Faced Romantic Eye.
The colours are top down:
Day- Tufted Suede
Classic- Velveteen Bunny
Fashion- Fresh Linen
Then;
Chinchilla, Pebbles, Vintage violet, Coffee Bean, London Fog (my favourite) and Midnight.
The colours are matte and have no shimmer so some colours come off a bit chalky (as is the problem for me with the other palette.) The lighter colours don't come off as very pigmented so that's a bit disappointing.

TS, VB, FL

C, P, VV
CB, LF, M

The next palette top down:
Day- Soulmates (very pretty, slight shimmer)
Classic- Kiss the Bride
Fashion- Bouquet Toss
Then;
I do, Cut the cake (very pretty), Honeymoon (my favourite), Un-Veil, First Dance and Ever after.

S, KTB, BT

ID, CTC, H

UV, FD, EA

Again, the lighter colours aren't as pigmented but the colours that you can see are very pretty. Staying power is quite good.
Some colours are a bit of a miss, but overall, I'd purchase again.
What do you guys think?
